1. A Different Brief
When iCAUR's design team began work on the V23, they started with a different brief than the V27. Where the V27 was designed to be a statement — commanding, wide, confident — the V23 had to earn its place in a different kind of conversation. It had to belong in the city.
Cairo's streets are narrow, its parking is tight, and its traffic is relentless. A car for this environment needs to feel nimble, to look right in context, and to offer the driver genuine visual control. The V23 was designed around all three.
2. Proportion First
The V23's proportions start with a lower, wider stance than its sibling — a fastback roofline that flows cleanly into a blunt tail, framed by pronounced wheel arches that give it visual mass without adding physical bulk. The overall length is 60mm shorter than the V27, but the wheelbase is barely reduced, preserving rear legroom.
The surfacing language draws from the same iCAUR vocabulary — taut flanks, a single dominant character line, and a face that reads as family across the range — but every element has been made sharper. The V23 is the sports version of the iCAUR design language.
3. Colour And Material
The V23 launch palette was chosen specifically for how these colours read in Egyptian light — a warm, high-ultraviolet environment that makes certain pigments shift in unexpected ways. The design team spent six months testing colour chips under direct Cairo sun before finalising the range.
The result is a palette of eight options that each feel intentional: deep sapphire that reads almost black in shadow, a warm champagne that catches the sun without looking gold, and a signature desert sand that references the landscape the V23 was designed within.
4. Interior For The Urban Driver
Inside, the V23 takes a more focused approach than the V27. The cabin is slightly narrower but uses its dimensions cleverly — wraparound armrests, a lower centre console, and a more driver-centric display angle that reduces the sense of scale without reducing the sense of quality.
Materials are consistent with the V27: textured fabric headlining, recycled-fibre seat inserts, and the same haptic-touch climate controls. But the V23's colour accents are different — warmer, with optional terracotta fabric options that connect visually to the Egyptian palette.
5. What It Represents
The V23 isn't the V27's cheaper sibling. It's its urban counterpart — a car that solves a different problem with the same standard of thinking. Together, they represent iCAUR's commitment to offering genuine choice within a coherent brand: two models, two personalities, one shared DNA.
