iCAUR was founded by a team of Egyptian engineers, designers, and dreamers who believed our country deserved a world-class electric vehicle — one that doesn't compromise on performance, safety, or style.

From the outset, we designed for Egypt first. The heat, the highways, the city traffic, the desert roads — every spec, every choice, every line of code reflects the realities of Egyptian driving.

Our Journey

From Vision
to Reality

2020

The Idea

A small team of engineers in Cairo begins sketching the first concepts for an Egyptian-made EV that could handle local roads and conditions.

2021

Research & Development

Prototype R&D begins, partnering with local universities and international EV specialists to develop the core powertrain technology.

2022

First Prototype

The first driveable iCAUR prototype takes to Egypt's roads — proving that local manufacturing of world-class EVs is possible.

2023

Design Finalized

The final V27 and V23 designs are completed after extensive testing, customer research, and refinement of the digital cockpit experience.

2024

Pre-Production

Production facilities established, supply chain secured, and the first batch of pre-production units begin assembly in Alexandria.

2026

Launch Year

The iCAUR V27 and V23 are unveiled to the world. Reservations open. Egypt's electric era begins.
